Addie Citchens

Born in the Mississippi Delta, Addie Citchens graduated from Jackson State University and attended the Callaloo Writer Workshop. She has been published in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, Midnight&Indigo, and The Oxford American. She is a 2025 O. Henry Award winner and in 2023 was noted by the ASME. Her Blues history work is featured heavily in Mississippi Folklife Magazine. FSG's inaugural Writer's Fellow, her highly-anticipated debut novel, Dominion, is slated for release in August 2025.
